Around a third of schools and colleges in England will be offered part-funding to train a senior mental health lead from their staff in the new school year, to develop a whole school approach to wellbeing. Grants will be around £1200 per school and the training takes two days. Find out more here and look out for details of how to apply in September. Government have also collated and coordinated all mental health delivery programmes into a single portal on Gov.uk to simplify access to resources and training for schools and colleges, teachers, staff and councils.
